Toddler crawling through blue tunnel during occupational therapy

Occupational Therapy Services

  • We conduct comprehensive evaluations of your child’s functional abilities.

This includes the assessment of the following:

    • Fine motor skills

    • Handwriting

    • Visual-motor skills

    • Visual perceptual & processing

    • Sensory integration & processing

    • Executive functioning

    • Self-help skills

The Occupational Therapy evaluation will include a 30-minute parent interview and a 30-minute in-person session. The parent interview will allow the parent to freely discuss areas of concern without the child present. The in-person session will use standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate your child.

  • Once the evaluation is completed, the individual therapy sessions will focus on the outlined areas of need. The sessions will take place in the child’s home to develop skills within their natural environment. Our therapists believe they are able to fully support the child and their family where the child is most comfortable. The therapist will focus on developing your child’s skills by highlighting your child’s strengths and addressing the areas of need.
